The National Election Response Group (NERG) convened its 3rd working session to deliberate on WANEP Early Warning data on election-related incidents.
During the session, members also deliberated on and validated the revised Hotspot Mapping in preparation for the 2026-2027 electoral cycle.
The meeting concluded with a series of recommendations as response actions to help strengthen peace, security, and a credible electoral process. Early warning and early response remain key to preventing electoral violence and safeguarding our democracy.
