WANEP-The Gambia Kicks Off Voices for Peace Forum Under the EU-Funded E-MAM Project!
WANEP-The Gambia has officially launched a 3-day Multi-Stakeholder Forum, bringing together key national and regional stakeholders to discuss concerns and jointly analyse risks associated with The Gambia’s upcoming elections. The Voices for Peace Forum creates space for regional perspectives on electoral risk, drawing on the rich experience of regional institutions engaged in election observation, mediation, and conflict prevention across West Africa. Its primary goal is to provide a platform for electoral stakeholders to share and analyse their concerns about the electoral process — all with a view to contributing to a peaceful and inclusive election in The Gambia.
