Executive Summary
The 2024 Conflict and Development Analysis (CDA) report aims to be practical, offering busy readers a user-friendly aide memoire. It draws from the tested “Agency neutral” approach developed by the United Nations (UN) Development Group, “Conducting a Conflict and Development Analysis.” CDA is an inclusive and participatory process that takes into consideration the views of all stakeholders — including men, women, young people, persons with disabilities and minority groups. A CDA has three main components: a: Conflict analysis assessing the context, conflict factors (drivers) and peace engines; b: Current response mapping and c: Recommendations.
