HAPPENING NOW: Building CSO Capacity for Peaceful Elections in The Gambia!!
WANEP–The Gambia has officially commenced a three-day Capacity Building Training for CSOs/NGOs on Electoral Dispute Management and Response Designing under the Electoral Violence Monitoring, Analysis and Mitigation (E-MAM) Project, WANEP’s flagship regional initiative funded by the European Union (EU).
The training brings together civil society organizations from across The Gambia to enhance their knowledge and practical skills in identifying, analyzing, and responding to election-related disputes, thereby contributing to peaceful, credible, and inclusive elections ahead of the 2026 electoral cycle.
We extend our sincere appreciation to H.E. the European Union Ambassador to The Gambia for the EU’s continued support to democratic governance and peacebuilding initiatives.
