WANEP-The Gambia Signs MOU with National Youth Council 
As part of International Youth Day 2026 celebrations, WANEP-The Gambia is proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Youth Council of The Gambia! This partnership marks a significant step forward in strengthening collaboration on youth development, engagement, and participation in peacebuilding across the country. Together, we are committed to empowering young Gambians to become active agents of peace and positive change in their communities.
Through this collaboration, WANEP-The Gambia and the National Youth Council will work hand-in-hand to:
Promote youth involvement in peacebuilding initiatives
Strengthen youth leadership and civic engagement
Create platforms for meaningful youth participation in national development
This IYD2026, we reaffirm our commitment to placing young people at the heart of peace and development efforts in The Gambia.
